The people who live in the Valley of Dawn in Brazil believe they originate from the Planet Capella and that the fabulous and outrageous clothes they wear connect them to their interplanetary spirit guides.
It is a new religious movement with a belief in extra terrestrials founded in the 1960s, with around 40,000 adherents. It is centered around a mother temple located in an eponymous locality in Planaltina, Federal District, Brazil.
Conceived by ex-truck driver and medium Tia Neiva (born Neiva Chaves Zelaya—died 1985), it was installed in its present location in 1969. The Valley occupies an area belonging to the government of the Federal District.
