![]() Pipedreams, the film I shot about the Fulni-o Indian family of Pernambuco in Brazil, is about to be edited. One indigenous family, nine children, all in a reggae band bound for San Francisco. How is life for a tribe with one foot in both worlds in the most densely populated drought stricken region on earth? I became friends with them and when I discovered their musical talents I took the opportunity to record songs with them. Jeffrey Chu, the cinematographer was simply amazing. Currently he lives and works in Shanghai.
